「The room was very comfortable and the staff very friendly . Breakfast was good but the evening meals ( both pizza and the main restaurant were disappointing and a bit expensive for what we got ) . Also the water temperature for the bath in our room was not hot enough - the shower was OK but not for a bath .」

「There will be free ticket for whitby abbey. The building is nice and historical. Many facilities for guests to use. I like the drinking water the most. A bit difficult to find the entrance and the 199 steps to hostel is without light at night. It is a bit dangerous if you back to hostel late at night as you can't see the steps. The breakfast is very tasty and many different choices to choose.」

「The location of the cottage is excellent, right next to the river Esk and on a very quiet holiday park (in April anyway). There is an amazing viaduct over the river where there is bungy jumping every couple of weeks during the summer and you can walk over it into Whitby which is only 30 mins away on foot.
