「Stayed as a solo traveller for one night for a quick visit to Whitby. Staff were very friendly on the phone when I called to firm up arrangements, and same when greeting me when I arrived. Good amount of private parking available. I arrived at 11:30am before chicken in (3pm) but no issues using the car park while I explored the town. When I did check in, I found the room clean and comfortable. The decor may be a little dated but it was perfect for my needs. Bathroom looked fairly new and...

「原本預訂的是ㄧ間單人房含私人浴室，雖說是私人浴室但浴室在房外，稍嫌不便。民宿老闆服務態度普通，但以此價位來說，無須苛責。早餐有許多樣式可供選擇、窗外景色很棒，整體來說還算不錯。」

「There will be free ticket for whitby abbey. The building is nice and historical. Many facilities for guests to use. I like the drinking water the most. A bit difficult to find the entrance and the 199 steps to hostel is without light at night. It is a bit dangerous if you back to hostel late at night as you can't see the steps. The breakfast is very tasty and many different choices to choose.」

「Furniture and fittings very antiquated. Bedding very old and worn, bed linen did not look clean and fresh. Bathroom shower looks as if mould growing around base, not hot water to the basin, towels very worn and ruff. Breakfast very poor, left on landing to help yourself, cereal and fruit only not worth the payment charged. Parking not easy and very limited particularly for the larger car. Expedia stated only one room left that clearly was not the situation. Definitely not value for money.」

「The Nutshell is a lovely little place, perfect for a stay in Whitby. Great location close to the harbour and town centre. Very clean and everything you need, hob, oven and all crockery and utensils. Nice feel to the place, makes you feel like you’re at the seaside. Great communication with the owners. Would 100% stay again. I was there for a week and had a wonderful time.」

「Absolutely lovely cottage, clean, cosy and in the perfect location. We have had a great time. Very steep stairs inside the property and a fairly short bed so if you are super tall with mobility problems it might be difficult but for us it was perfect.」

「Lovely cottage. Only moments from the harbour, and seconds from a micro-pub! Great! Scratchcard parking provided for "W Zone", so all good. Plenty of living room seating, dining table, and a real fire (but we had no need to light it). Very comfy bed, large bath with shower」
