The rooms are to the usual Premier Inn standard so you know what to expect. I found the bedroom to be comfortable and very quiet, so yes, I did get a good night's sleep every night. The breakfast is served in the adjacent Brewers Fayre restaurant. I had the full cooked breakfast and it was very good."

The gardens are still kept very tidy and added to our pleasant stay. We had the dinner at the hotel which was excellent again. It is very easy to access the Park and Ride to get into the city centre (we were there for the revamped castle just recently reopened this summer). I highly recommend the hotel, which is apparently run by a family (according to the locals) and it shows in their care in maintaining the standard of the legacy their ancestors built over years."
