Very pleasant

Room was clean and well presented, didnt have breakfast so cannot comment. Staff friendly and informative, used swimming pool and sauna, spa well worth it. Its mainly for golf which makes it very busy. I will definitely stay again although i dont golf

Room was suitable and clean. Shower had excellent pressure. Food was well below what we would have expected. It was an organised function with 180 people attending and a Christmas dinner. Potatoes were reheated and cold, vegetables were ok but sparse for the table of 8 and turkey was also cold and dry. Christmas pudding was quite poor quality, but the option of the cheesecake, apparently was great, but for £60 each, it was very disappointing. The best part of the food was the tiny mince pies with the coffee. I wouldn't stay again unless we ate away from the establishment.

The room, the bed linen and the towels were clean and the shower was good, all of which were a big plus but the room was so old-fashioned. There were no towel rails in the bathroom, the toilet roll holder is directly behind your head, there were no soap dishes and the wash basin was never cleaned in five days. The continental breakfast was very disappointing - bread to make your own toast, tea or coffee and croissants plus a giant lump of frozen summer fruits. Overall, it was not terrible but was very disappointing.
