「Helpful staff and comfy stop over」

「The homestead in a lovely period property with matching decor. The room was spotless, spacious with lovely en-suite facilities. Maria and Kevin, the hosts, are lovely people, very friendly and make you feel at ease as soon as you arrive. We stayed overnight as we were attending a wedding at Wennington Hall. Kevin very kindly offered to drop us off and pick us up when we were ready to return. This saved us a lot of hassle trying to arrange taxis to come out for just a short journey. Thanks Kevin...

「We have enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay, the location was spot on only 2 minutes to Lake Windermere and the ferry landing point. Colin is the perfect host, very attentive, knowledgeable of the area and looked after us well. Breakfast was a lovely; full English in a cosy setting. The room was fine with all amenities. It was our birthdays whilst there and Colin decorated the room, these touches are most appreciated. Definitely recommend 10/10」
