Great place to stay, excellent clubhouse with great staff and food. The only downside was that the suite we had was very small, with no seating and no wear to put your suitcases, and only one TV in the main bedroom, which wasn't that great when sharing with others in our party.

I stayed at Carus Green for one night with my 12 year old daughter. Our twin room was welcoming, comfortable and clean with a fantastic bathroom. We arrived late due to travelling from the South, but easily collected our keys and accessed our room. Originally we had not planned to have breakfast at the hotel but made a last minute decision to eat in the restaurant. Reception staff easily fitted us in for breakfast and staff within the bar/restaurant were friendly and professional. As the hotel is a golf hotel the grounds were lovely and great views out over the hills. We would definitely recommend.

This was a great place to stay. It was a bit far away from the city center. The room was very nice,, and we would stay here again but definitely better for stays related to events at the site or playing golf than a pass through see Kendal location
