Nice touch with the continental breakfast. Owner was amazing . Willing to spend the time to chat , which made the check-in experience nice. Very knowledgeable of the properties history( old court house) and the local area. Genuinely friendly and helpful. Very central to lots of coffee shops, pubs and dining...

「The room albeit quite small was very comfy and nicely done out. I found it really hard to sleep though as the green emergency light made the room very light when I am used to sleeping in total darkness」

「Parking can be difficult to find on a busy night. Desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was cozy, comfortable, and quiet despite the restaurant being next door/downstairs. It was nice to stay at a place in GB during early Autumn that had the heat on!」

Reception staff kindly refunded breakfast cost when we checked in as they could not accommodate a ‘to go’ option that day, but they said they would have been able to if we requested in advance.」

「They told us up front there was no A/C, but we figured, 70 and raining would be fine. Well was 79 and sunny, and with only one tiny window that only opened 2 inches, the place was like sweatbox. The upside, is that the staff were wonderful! The restaurant next door has a great pub, and excellent fish and chips!」
