「Excellent staff. Lovely room and decor. Heat wave when I visited Lovely to see a fan in the room when I entered 😀 Unfortunately they have limited parking 😕 and had to pay for my car space. Wifi not so good.」

Despite having given the hotel the age of my young baby prior to our arrival, and obviously having a pram when we checked in, the first room we were given was down a narrow flight of stairs which was very difficult to carry a pram up/down safely. We complained and were initially told to leave the pram outside reception. I pointed out that would mean we may have to carry a lot of things up and down the stairs whilst carrying a baby also- not safe. They then...

The Inn's accommodation is above a large and busy restaurant, which was cheery, not leery, and the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again.」

「Check in was very easy, the room was compact but okay for 1 night stay. We had our dog and our room was the furthers away from the main entrance or garden, so would have been better if we was a bit closer. breakfast was really good and the bar was well stocked and a great view from the bay window. would defiantly stay again.」

「The hotel had some character. We booked car parking for £12 a night at the rear of the hotel, we did not expect to park on waste ground with a 75 yard walk to the back door. The room was small but OK. We booked a table for 7pm. in the restaurant when we arrived the room was empty and no sign of staff, we enquired in the bar to be told that meals were being served in the bar. We ordered drinks to have with the meal and were asked to pay for them, we said would they book it to our room, this...

「The location was very good. The double room booked was very small with a smaller than average double bed. Most disappointing was the very stained and dirty looking carpet. The bedding and towels were good quality and the new bathroom was nice with a good hot shower. The carpet spoiled the whole experience for me」

My only concern was that the hotel is advertised as having parking. Technically yes this is correct but it’s extremely limited and we were told it’s not available after booking.」
