「Dit hotel is natuurlijk prachtig historisch, maar wij vonden de prijs-kwaliteit niet goed. Erg duur voor de kwaliteit van bijvoorbeeld onze badkamer. Deze was te vergelijken met een badkamer in een oude stacaravan. De kamer zelf was wel mooi, klein maar fijn. Ontbijt was goed, maar voor bijna 500 euro voor 3 nachten verwacht je net wat meer.」

「I had a lovely room, I was surprised breakfast wasn’t included/offered. Staff were friendly but I couldn’t get internet which may have been just me. I was on my own and wanted to plan my next day, couldn’t even get 4G. Not even in the bar. Young lady said it was a bad area??!! Plenty parking and lots of people eating so food must be good. I just had (a very small) portion of chips. 」

「I love staying in this beautiful old hotel. It is a stones throw from the town and beach with beautiful views across the sea to Torbay and beyond. Breakfasts are fantastic and catered for my weird veggie dairy free diet with ease. The staff here are always so friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Oh and my two dogs love it as well.」
