"Lovely staff, spotless hotel, and superb seafront location. Even our dog was given a breakfast sausage. Very friendly and welcoming. My only concern was that the hotel is advertised as having parking. Technically yes this is correct but it’s extremely limited and we were told it’s not available after booking."
"The family room overlooking the sea on the second floor was spacious, with comfortable beds and lots of little extras in the room to make us feel welcome.
The Inn's accommodation is above a large and busy restaurant, which was cheery, not leery, and the breakfast was excellent.
Would definitely stay again."
"Tradicional English seaside hotel excellently located on the sea front at Sidmouth.
Very good service from the staff and excellent value for a two night stay to include parking, our second visit and would stay again,"
"The hotel and staff are wonderful .The location was perfect right by the beach and town . However, the hotel expect clients to dress for dinner men in a shirt and tie !! Which we found very old fashioned and annoying , so didn't have dinner in the hotel there are standards to which I understand but telling you what to wear for dinner is a bit much !!"
"Our room no. 12 was quite small but had a large shared decking area with views of the coastline and we sat out there with drinks before venturing out. The decking needs attention with several areas having loose boards and some raised areas. Both of which are safety issues. The room was warm but we had a excellent oscillating fan. The hotel service and staff are excellent and we had a lovely meal in the restaurant on our second evening with views of the sea. We ate at Roma Italian the first evening, which was nice.
We used the bar area at times and the terrace and also the outdoor swimming pool one afternoon. Everywhere was quiet and relaxing and we were so lucky with the weather too! Sidmouth is a lovely town and we visited the various gardens and views and walked alongside the river Sid on a circular walk. We explored every corner of Sidmouth! The Salcombe Tap House, (for a beer or wine facing the sea, right at the far east end of the seafront), was very nice as was the beer and wine. You can have a taster first to see what beer you like best, a nice touch! Lovely staff too...
Thank you to all at the Harbour Hotel for looking after us so well for our 2 nights stay before heading off to Cornwall and the Eden Project.

"Great location with ample free parking, and close to the beach. The room was immaculate and quiet. In all very relaxing, and the service at the bar from Mike was excellent, as well as reception staff. We had a lovely evening meal although we decided to eat out on the terrace and not in the restaurant due to the glorious weather. Couldn't fault the hotel at all. Would not hesitate to stay again."
"We had a lovely few days the owners are lovely people very clean accommodation breakfast lovely 😍 would recommend this b and b to anybody wanting to stay at sidmouth."
