It is a beautiful boutique hotel with a lot of character, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The small swimming pool in the center courtyard is very lovely. However, the rooms feel a bit cramped, and the breakfast was rather too simple — there was not even any milk available.」

「Can’t beat the location. Room was great. My only complaint is the towels were thin and cheap. Definitely bring headphones or earplugs….you can hear others moving around and traffic outside. Had to park about 1/2 mile away but that’s expected with the location.」

「We had the best room in the entire place, the only one with a private balcony which was so nice. It was fun to watch the bikers/walkers heading to party on Duval Street. Room was very large and in such great condition for the age of the building and the historical charm. We were on the same street and close to the Truman winter Whitehouse. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. The pool was nice. But....the stairs were tough on us to get to our floor, so if you can't do stairs, don't reserve...
