「We recently stayed at Tempus and were genuinely impressed by the hotel itself. Unfortunately, our experience at The Orangery restaurant was far below the standard we expected. We arrived for our 7:45pm reservation and were initially seated directly beside the kitchen. Throughout service, chefs could be heard swearing loudly and frequently, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere and ultimately led us to request another table. 「A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We were in room 3 which had a challenging set of stairs, no lift due to nature of the historic building. Very atmospheric place bang in the middle of the town great access on foot to all amenities. A 10 minute stroll to the Castle and the excellent car park. Breakfast was first class value.
