「We refused to check in and had to find other local accommodations. The directions were off by 1 mile, requiring getting locals to help find the place. When we got there we found 1) No way to secure our belongings, since door locks were not working, 2) no A/C in the main rooms and 90 degrees without fans, 3) Open access from the public beach, 4) cockroaches, 5) bad neighborhood without the listed local restaurants and shops, 6) Poorly maintained pool, barbeque, and other amenities. 「Overall, it was a great experience. Unfortunately, they did warn me ahead of time, but there was heavy construction during our stay, so there was a lot of noise early on. However, the staff and the food were fantastic. The infinity pool overlooking the waves of the Pacific Ocean was also beautiful. Highly recommend this place.」

「We stayed in Villa Johanna and it was beautiful. The pools were clean. We had breakfast included and it was delicious. The resort was kept clean. It was walking distance to restaurants and stores. We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very helpful.」

「Very clean rooms with fully equipped kitchen, beach and restaurants walkable within 5-10 minutes, and friendly staff. My room was situated near the pool and the lights are left on throughout the night so either bring a sleeping mask or ask for a unit in the back. 」
