Very friendly people. We asked our room to be clean a few times and they gladly did it , and left it spotless. The pool was very nice and clean.
One of the cleanest and nicest beach.

The pool was super enjoyable, amazing temperature! The complementary breakfast was really good and the lunch was amazing (ordered mar y Tierra and a jumbo fish), even my toddler loved it! The beach was like a 2 minute walk and was also super enjoyable! The local people and staff were super helpful and delightful! Enjoyed the bar and we plan on returning for sure! 10/10

Bathroom was dirty with pee on it. Staff was horrible the guy was all the time on his phone instead to attend people and my son jump on the pool and anyone told us that the pool was being clean with Clorox. Horrible experience and location.

Except poor service- front desk stuff didn’t even welcome guests on arrival and seemed to be having a bad day. I’m not planning on staying at this location again.

The property was undergoing improvements when we were there. We stayed on the second level and had very little water pressure. The wifi was often down and the free breakfast was basic, but good. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. The staff were all friendly with the exception of one, whom didn't seem to want to help us and were pass our questions off to the younger staff. When we arrived on Sunday he whole area was extremely busy. If want quiet come during the week, otherwise be prepared to party on the weekend.

Wi-Fi did not work most of the night and day. They claimed repairs were being done. But for over a week. At the end there was no electricity or even water. Therefore not sanitary. The staff was very sweet. It was fairly close to beautiful Playa Mahajual. The faulty, usually non-existent Wi-Fi prevented me from getting necessary work done. The breakfasts were good. The hotel is set in a beautiful oasis with Palm trees and a welcoming pool. Both the staff and guests were a pleasure to know. These issues can be resolved so as to make Hotel Mahajal a great hotel.

I got a 2 bed room for my dad & I, my bed had a stained sheet which I requested to be changed. The towels didn’t seem to clean either. We checked in really late at night and the staff at that time were great. The staff in the day had no attention to customer service and had a dry and almost angry attitude. This brought down my dad’s mood, luckily we only booked one night and left as soon as it was check out time. The information on Expedia does not match what staff say.. The address is not exactly correct. It’s off by a couple feet. The pool is not 24hrs. And check out is at 2pm. The “included” breakfast is just fruit or yogurt. Nothing like a traditional breakfast. The property is great but all things mentioned just dilute the whole experience. Would not return!

The room was clean and in good condition but it needs upgrades, better curtains for the bathroom , closet to be able to put your clothes in . Or a phone in room for service. The staff were terrific. The staff were very attentive. Very polite very well mannered. In respect to their service. They were terrific . The pool good and the food was great!!!😊 I was very very disappointed when they have no transportation. There shuttle bus is not workable. So they do not have transportation that picks you up at the airport. I saw a shuttle bus that has not been used in months it had leaflets over it and two flat tires.
