「The place was clean and tidy. The airport shuttle service was good; they even stopped by the bank for me before heading to the airport. The staff were very nice and helpful. They replied to messages promptly. They also provided hot breakfast with different choices. Just one bad thing, the shower water was cold.」

「What a unique and authentic experience. The owner is very welcoming and proud to show you around this 300 year old property. The host is friendly and spends ample time to give advice on what to see and how. The family enjoyed him, and we enjoyed the stay. Large enclosed garden area is great for kids to play or an escape from the hustle and bustle. Parking available on site, although it is tight. Great location with all the downtown locations within walking distance. The best value for money ever」

「Staff were friendly and genuinely seemed like they wanted us to enjoy our stay, but as soon as I walked in to the bathroom, I saw black mold. I am glad we were only there for about 10 hours. The location was not great, very noisy all night, we barely slept, and did not seem like the safest place to go out at night. There were 3 or 4 locks on the door. We left too early for breakfast. The beds were fairly comfortable. It’s the black mold that did it for us. Gross.」

「My first time using this application and this place was a surprise. For a local I think is great but someone who's traveling from far I wouldn't recommend this place because is not in a good area. Not a good area and that pretty much some races everything. The bathrooms were too close to the wall and it feels like you're about to do a headbutt while you using the toilet. Besides that is good for the price and for locals but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone coming from outside especially if...

He made sure I had everything I needed. He even booked a tour for me and another guest in which he took the time to be our guide and driver. Great stay! Thank you Hernan!」

「I got there to do my check in and they told us the don’t have the room I did reserved, they give another option for 40$ more and they blame Expedia for the wrong price. I didn’t like they don’t accept any credit card or debit card. There was no hot water either. They are nice」

I have to give special shoutout to the staff members who made the experience very pleasant, which included Freddy, Joz, and Gustavo. They were very attentive and accommodating. I don’t feel the need to explore other options for hotels to stay at when I come to Quito again because I only want to stay here. That’s how much I loved it!」

「A nice boutique hotel with great staffs. Location close to old town. Bed is comfortable and breakfast tasty. Two minor issues with my single room. First being no wardrobe. Second the bathing area is too open and water do spill out and wet the floor a bit.」

「A very comfortable well maintained historic hotel in a perfect location only steps away from independence plaza. The staff are very friendly and super helpful. A tip: get them to organise your airport transfer for US $30 (pay them directly). Breakfast was good with choices.」
