「Der Aufenthalt im Tenuta Sovestro hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das ältere landwirtschaftliche Gebäude wurde sehr schön renoviert, die Ausstattung ist modern und gepflegt. Es ist für alles gesorgt, das Team ist immer freundlich. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und ließ für uns keine Wünsche offen. San Gimignano ist zu Fuß über eine Straße abseits vom Verkehr in 30 min zu erreichen. Wir können das Tenuta auf jeden Fall empfehlen.」

Eva and Gemma were wonderful communicating with us prior to our trip so all our activities could be coordinated. They informed us that many of the activities we were interested in (horseback riding, truffle hunting, winery tour) were offsite and so would require us to drive, but they were very helpful in arranging a private ride back and forth to Florence and a 2-day car rental while we were at the...

「This place is amazing! The views are spectacular. The room was perfect and the grounds are exactly what you’d expect for Tuscany. The owner is on hand at all times and is very friendly and accommodating. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t get in until midnight. He stayed up for us and talked us through the directions there. You do need a car if you’re staying here since there is no public transportation. 」

「The room was old world 1900s with a deep tub but it was to short for me but there was never ending hot water. The restaurant had an excellent octopus soup. The breakfadt could hsve been better if they kept it in warmers. The eggs were cold but the fruit and fresh juices were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. On Sunday’s the vendors bring out tables to expose their wares while the locals parade around in their sunday best It was quite delightful. I would definitely stay there...

「Nice quiet spot in the woods but very close to San Gimignano. Very clean. Comfortable beds. They don’t provide towels or soaps, but that is clear up front. You can rent towels if you want and they sell soap/ shampoo in the office. 」
