"The hotel.ia.good, but very very far from.anything else. Breakfast - walk to town, dinner - walk to town, its a bit out of the way and has no options of its own. "

"The room was lovely. Views superb, quiet, apart from a bit of traffic. However, we couldn’t use our credit card to check in, had to use cash. We weren’t the only guests this happened to. They xanclled our last 2 nights, with a week’s notice and offered no compensation. We later learned everyone had been cancelled to accommodate a wedding..surely they knew about this more than a week ahead! The advertised airport shuttle did not exist. Neither did the advertised coffee machine in the room, although there was a large communal kitchen . Would not recommend this hotel, except for the wonderful location and good pools."

"The room was so interesting and beautiful. But the grounds were the best part, the outside areas were serene and well landscaped. My friend and I enjoyed sitting out or enjoying a hammock by the river often. I also enjoyed that there was a small row boat that I could row over to the beach area. We had our first dinner there and it was the most delicious meal of our 14 day trip (the volcano one)."

"Such fantastic staff. Loved it. Don’t tell your friends about this place because it’s too good it must be gatekept. also be ready for lots of stairs "
