「Overall a lovely stay with friendly staff and a good breakfast. A nice room and very clean. The only downfall was the shower water was really hot, even on the lowest setting. Having a shower wasn't very enjoyable, which was a shame as the bathroom was really lovely with a rainfall shower head, but I had to stay out of the stream and splash the water on me. But we did mention it to them on checkout so hopefully it can be easily resolved, because the hotel was really nice. Unfortunately parking...

「Friendly staff at check in. Given a piece of paper per room for times of pool etc … does this change frequently? not very environmentally friendly to print it out each time for each room. Went to use pool and sauna etc to hear one of the staff moaning that a child had poo’ed in the children’s pool and it was now out of action and on top of that the steam room had packed up and no staff. 「Beautiful property and had an amazing visit. Pity the property doesn’t have Aircon in the rooms. With the current heatwave it made it very hot inside the building . I understand it’s because it’s an old historical building and there are restrictions.」

「Useful location but very close to the A30. Nice hotel/former coaching Inn with friendly welcome. Plenty of parking. Good breakfast. The good size double room had a kettle with coffee bags, fan, hairdryer, iron and ironing board plus large TV. The mattress was a bit too firm for our comfort though.」

「This is a very old characterful property, with low beams etc. Venue was chosen for a small family reunion and everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The staff were all very polite, helpful and patient which adds to the enjoyment. The food was really excellent and thanks to the chef none of our group had any complaints, Definitely recommend.」

「Booked the suite with my partner for three nights, turned out we had booked gran’s house, very dated, no tv in bedroom even though it’s shown in the pictures. When opening the window the plastic window surround fell off and there was no curtains on the window so people on the car park get full view. The lights flicker in the bathroom so if your epileptic you might want to swerve the bathroom. 「The food was excellent - both breakfast and evening meal. Full fresh cooked breakfast included in the cost of the room. Proper Americano coffee served at no extra cost with breakfast! I had a glass of champagne with the evening meal and it was chilled, bubbly and perfect. 」
