"The room was a little dirty. Lots of dust all over the room. No hot water in the bathroom. Only provide one towel for your trip. There’s a public bathing area downstairs. The onsen was nice. Doesn’t seem like this hotel was renovated in a while. They also only accept cash at the front desk. "

"Please note that this from the perspective of a westerner (Canada) — This was a very traditional Japanese resort. The baths and hot tub were great. Breakfast was a set menu and traditional Japanese fare — while it was an interesting experience, it was also very non-traditional for us. Best to have a vehicle when visiting here as town and restaurants are a 2 km walk or a $12-18 taxi ride.
