「Really great location and easy check in and out but the room was SO hot we couldn’t sleep, there was a fan but it didn’t do much. Our windows also opened into the balcony which didn’t feel very private 」

「Very expensive restaurant with limited choice. No welcome from staff we hen passing reception. Expensive breakfast with limited choice both our choices were not available. Buffet but no attempt to clear table Staff standing around and you even have to serve yourself Not a friendly place.」

「Our room was perfect for us, a good size and lovely and quiet. Corridors were quiet and the floor did not creak as you walked along so we slept very well. Bed was very good, pillows less so. Hotel is in an excellent location for walking down the canal, ponds and woods, lots of green space just a walk away. The food at the restaurant was not as good as we were hoping but there are 2 very good pubs very close which served very good food. All in all though, for us, a very enjoyable stay」

「My stay was only three nights but it turned out to be like two separate stays. I was checked into a single room as requested and was initially delighted with it. But I then found that it coincided with football being shown on a large screen TV just yards away in the courtyard from my window, and that my room was next door to a gents toilet open to the visitors (ie public). And after experiencing the toilet door banging every 30 seconds and a hand dryer whirring literally the other side of the...

「Enjoyed our stay in a garden room. Although the gardens aren’t totally finished it’s nice to see the progress being made and on a sunny day it’s nice to have direct access. Fantastic meal in the kitchen restaurant. We had dined in prevost on previous occasions but the standard of dishes in the other restaurant was great. Friendly reception when we arrived. Breakfast is fantastic. If you are looking for a night or two to relax in a pretty and period setting then this hotel is recommended.」

「My 3rd stay here the showers are good the hotel is clean I stayed in room 1 the bed wasn’t as comfortable as the last 2 times and they’ve changed policy check out is now 10 am so for that reason I probably won’t return it’s good for what you pay but 10 am is just. A little too early for me」
