「Staff brilliant, location good, breakfast hit and miss. This is not a hotel but a restaurant with rooms. No room safe, no reception desk However it is in a good position for the Wallace tower and museum (walkable) also very near the university. Breakfast is brought to you in a basket the night before and left outside your room. 「Great location. Easy walk to train/bus. Cool medieval/castle property. Nicely furnished. Small but comfortable room. Ensuite bathroom very nice and all immaculately clean. Host/owner is very friendly. I ordered the light breakfast which was excellent in a beautiful dining room. There is also a very pretty back courtyard. I was able to store luggage for the day.」
