We were very excited to be staying at Broomhall. It is nicely located near the Wallace Monument and Stirling. There is nothing around Broomhall as far as shops and restaurants or pubs. The bathrooms are updated, but the flooring (carpet) is very antiquated and had a few stains in our room. The Scottish breakfast was good and the fish and chips. The pub located on the premise was cute and Logan was very pleasant. There is a lot of potential for this hotel, but overall needs updating.

We had thought we booked the room shown on the website but that was not what we got. It was very plain, the bathroom needed pairing and no wall pictures or anything and the beds were terrible. Staff tried a little giving us a discount on supper, but hardly making up for our disappointment of looking forward to staying in a Castle environment. Especially with the cost.

Nice castle. Remember that it is a castle and won’t feel like a hotel. Stairs and tight hallways. Big rooms. Water pressure is a little low but acceptable. Great for pictures!

Beautiful place. Very rustic place. Just be aware there is no A/C. But we opened the window and used a fan they provided. Bed is very firm.

Property was nice. Staff were very nice and seemed to be working hard to manage things. Some little things, like a quite dirty wardrobe, could be better. The rooms were nice but have the potential to be spectacular with a little creative and artistic effort.
