「The Heron is a beautiful hotel. We stayed in the Heron King, and were very impressed. The bathroom, with real marble tile, a beautiful shower, and the provided soaps and lotions were amazing. We loved the Heron theme, down to the clothes closet with heron print, heron robe to use and even heron drink coasters. Rooftop bar is a MUST, we had cocktails there with a great view of the city. Ate breakfast in the Kiln, was awesome, with good sized portion, lots of bacon and really good sour dough...
「This is me and my wife's favorite place to stay when we want a staycation. The mixologist on staff is amazing (if you are into mixed drinks), and the hotel is so close to many of our favorite restaurants in the area. So walkable, yet off the beaten path. As a lover of books, getting to take books home is a bonus. We stay here at least 2 times a year.」
「Stay started by being greeted by friendly staff at the valet stand as well as front desk. Room was spacious, clean and accommodating. It was late so I opted to have dinner at the hotel and the server was wonderful! The area is safe, lovely with lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel! 」
「Although first impressions of tattered entry rugs, the hotel was welcoming. The staff were friendly and accmmodating, The evening started with a complimentary drink (either sangria or an old fashioned). Being directly on King street , it allowed for easy walking to the waterfront, restaurants and pubs. The free King street trolley was an added bonus. Our room was clean and comfortable 」
「I would definitely stay here again. The location and price was perfect. My only small issue I had was the housekeeping staff knocking on my door at 9 am asking if we were ready for check out (check-out is “before noon”). Didn’t appreciate being woken up and answering in my pajamas. But other than that, it was a great place to stay. 」
