A lovely hotel in the center of Alexandria. Everything looked just like the photos, the food at the restaurant was tasty, and the movie theater was a nice touch. Only downsides would be that service at the restaurant could have been better, and the room did not have complimentary tea like the sign mentioned. That being said, I would stay again.

My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway, and will 100% be staying here again if we’re ever in the Alexandria/DC area. The hotel is gorgeous, the staff - from the front desk to the bar - is amazing, and the room was clean and large (king with Juliet balcony). Valet parking (additional cost) is an option, but since there was street parking available, we chose to not valet the car. There are restaurants in walking distance, if you don’t want to take advantage of the hotel’s lounge, plus more located near the water just about 10 mins away. I highly recommend AKA Alexandria!

Best hotel in Alexandria hands down and I’ve stayed at all of them. Customer service at AKA is 12/10. Isaiah with the concierge team is delightful, I’ve worked with him multiple times over multiple stays, he’s always so attuned to guests having an exceptional experience. And everyone else is so lovely as well, from the servers, to managers, to concierge team. Vibes here are chic and relaxed. Can’t say enough good things.

Room was clean. Staff was friendly. It was unfortunately unseasonably warm in DC so the room was pretty hot and the hotel could not turn on the ac as it was too early in the year. The staff was really friendly, understanding, and as helpful as they could be. Told us to open the windows and provided a fan. But there were no outlets near the windows so the fan could blow in cool air, plus one of our windows wouldnt stay open (they only open a tiny bit anyway). A maintenance person eventually came and wedged something under the window to keep it open. Its a nice hotel in a convenient location, but with the lack of hot food, and the issues with the heat I dont think it's worth the price esp if you go around the time the seasons are changing when you may not have heat or air. I do appreciate them giving us a discount for the inconvenience though.
