「Great little motel on the beach. Small parking lot, but in walking distance to many local places, short drives to stores, and less than a 2 minute walk from room to beach. 」

「This room was clean and well-maintained. The people were very friendly. Convenient to downtown Manteo and about 10-15 from Jennette’s Pier at Nags Head. Only negative is there’s just one parking space per room, but for most people that is probably just fine. A cute and comfortable place to stay. Would go back and would recommend. 」

「Saltaire Cottages was a great place to stay for a few days. It was cleaned and had what we needed for those few days. When you drive up it seems to be a little outdated. The inside of our cottage had been redone and it was fine. The location is great, right across the street with their own beach access. The beaches were not so crowded on any day that you felt like you were right on top of each other.」

「Mary and all the staff were amazing and helpful. From dinner suggestions, offering to loan a bicycle (which I used to ride to the piggly Wiggly for some provisions and to Ft Roanaoke to check that out), to happy hour wine and cheese we were super happy with our choice. Also it’s right next to the marina and we had our boat there. 」

「We had a fabulous stay! Check in was quick and easy. There are always homemade goodies, wine and cheese trays out and available. Very comfortable lobby/living room set up. Our rooms were comfortable and quiet. We stayed for a concert and there isn't much parking space at the inn but it isn't a super busy street to find something close by. Loved interacting with the staff and other guests. The breakfast was amazing!」

「The property was clean and well-located, and overall my stay was pleasant. However, I noticed that the restaurant staff seemed very overworked and tired. While they were doing their best, I believe they would benefit from more support to ensure they have time to rest and can provide a more welcoming and cheerful experience for guests. A little extra help could go a long way in enhancing the overall atmosphere. Thank you!」
