「Nice view friendly staff 」

「Would be better if wifi is fixed 」

「Excellent value for money nice clean room friendly staff」

「The place was very accessibly to the city centre. The room was very clean, but some of the decor was a little tired. The bed was so comfortable. Lits of hot water for the shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value for money」

「Hotel is tired in places needs some refurbishment. Staff very helpful. Breakfast average.」

「Overall a satisfactory stay but disappointing to find that our room was on the top floor despite our request for one on the ground floor.」

「Old fashioned property with heaps of charm. Big room and easy check in」

「Generally clean and presentable good location and warm, bed comfy just noisy - needs a bit of tlc and could be really very good!」

「The person in charge, Tony, is a very friendly and helpful guy. He helped us a lot.」

「I had a great stay here cheap and on a budget but clean and beds comfortable」

「Rooms are on 2 different levels so very quiet. We stayed in room 2 which was lovely, with tea & coffee etc and very welcome biscuits. No need to bring shower products as they are all provided. Offered more tea/coffee & toast. The hosts Jane & Mark were lovely and very helpful regarding the local area...

「Such a lovely place to stay for my friends wedding, staff were so friendly and accommodation allowing me to check in early so I could get ready. Room was comfy and clean and breakfast was delicious and such a good portion! Would 100% recommend.」

As the property operates on an automated basis (the key is retrieved from a key safe with a code supplied by email), there was no receptionist on duty. Luckily, we managed to find a helpful cleaner who was still on the premises, who was able to arrange for an alternative room. Although better, the room did not...

「The property was excellent for what we wanted with family in the village. Great pub downstairs. The property is in a very rural location, only another pub and a shop」

「Excellent hotel! Excellent staff. I arrived late due to being held up at work so called ahead, the chap on the phone was kind enough to wait 1hr30 past the check-in deadline for me to get there, thank you! Had only booked the single room for 1 night, while the room could be classed as a little snug it was nothing less than very comfortable. The room is very well presented and incredibly clean, bed was super comfy and bathroom was spotless and of a decent size. Paid extra for the Full English...
