Spectacular location, helpful staff, & well maintained. The shower situation is just a bit too foreign & convoluted for me. I tried it, but I’ll have to stick to my mores. The sauna was a plus though. Overall, if you’re up to try out the Japanese bathhouse onsen experience, then book this location 100%.
Excellent: friendly staff; wi-fi; shower room; hot pool; sauna; location (to various train lines, restaurants, Sumida walking paths on both sides of the Sumida River...perfect during cherry blossom season and otherwise, parks, Skytree tower); capsule rooms; and cost.
Thank you with very warm regards for a great three week stay, and I look forward to staying again next time I'm in town.

👍😊
Good location and very nice amenities (onsen + sauna + social area), so if you are comfortable with sleeping in a dorm with bad soundproofing, this is a great option.
The location of this hostel was excellent! The beds were comfy.
There was not much storage space, and they do not hold your bag after check out.. which was a bit ridiculous as people just end up sitting in the lobby with their stuff, waiting for their time to go anyway. Onsens were way too hot, but otherwise nice.
Loved the hot spring and sauna available to you when you stay!! Also very close to the temple in asakusa! Will definitely return when im looking to stay in the area!
Great place to stay if you’re looking for a hostel that is close by to Senso-ji temple and surrounding attractions! Clean and affordable, plus the staff are very kind and polite.
The location is convenient, but overall I was disappointed with my stay. The capsule area was very crowded, and there was a noticeable unpleasant smell throughout the building. The elevators were also dirty and had a bad odor. One of the male Japanese staff members was quite rude, although the two female staff members were friendly and helpful. If you’re looking to relax and enjoy your vacation, I would recommend to save a little money and staying at a hotel instead.
This place is amazing if your looking for a convenient and clean hostel to stay near Senso-ji temple. The staff was amazing and the stay was great for the price. Will be using this hostel again in the future and recommend it for travelers on a budget! The only downside is the public bath which offers zero privacy. But that is to be expected with a in house onsen.
Very clean. Staff very friendly. Very quiet. Easy to navigate and great location within Asakusa. Would stay here again!
FYI to those that aren't used to Japan customs, you will share a communal bath with other guests, so it may be unnerving the first time. However, most people will attempt to keep to themselves, so you just need to immerse yourself in the culture.
The location is super convenient if you're visiting the Asakusa area. Most of the staff are fantastic and incredibly helpful—except for one. Hopefully, you won’t need assistance while he’s on shift!
I had a great experience at this hostel + hotel, as a solo traveller. Great location, building is well kept and staff are very nice. I only docked one star as they don't have luggage storing facilities post check out (due to storage space). I can understand but it can also make it challenging to lug storage or find storage lockers to accommodate post check out. They have a female only public bath which was a cool experience. Overall great experience and definitely recommend and return. Thank you!
This place is perfect for visiting Tokyo (solo backpacker perspective). The location is super convenient, staff is helpful and friendly and the amenities are great (great bathroom, hairdryer, towels, microwave, kettle, locker - though bigger ones could be made available in the dormitory). You can leave your luggage at the place before/after check-in to move freely in the city. Noise is part of staying in hostel but as a light sleeper I would say it was alright.
Overall, great experience !
In short, I found there are good and not so good things here. I may stay again but only if my next trip doesn't require locker.
The good: It's good for the price. Location is best if you like Asakusa. Bed was comfy and I slept well every night.
The not so good: Maybe it's because of the cheap price, several basic amenities were not initially provided. Towels, slippers, etc are available for rent. It was quite sueprising to hear when the staff explain us to this point, even the staff herself was reluctant to say these things. But eventhough they're cheap to rent, they still disappear/stolen. I went in for shower, left my slipper in front of the bathroom, stolen. Two of my friends hung their towels in front of their bed, woke up in the morning and they disappear.
The bad: no locker for your belonging at all
Location is excellent. Supermarket around the corner. Foot steps to the chaos of Asakusa without the busy streets (it’s nice a quiet back street). The train station is just a couple interactions away. Having an onsen is such a bonus. But note, there are no other showers besides inside the onsen. Not a bad thing, just be aware.
The cons: zero sound proofing, especially if you’re top bunk because you have no real ceiling - it’s all open and you can hear every zipper, every curtain open and closing, every plastic bag crinkling. Even the clothes hangers they give are metal (good for quality) but they clang. There’s also only 1 plug and it’s used for to lamp they give you.
