Great stay. Checked in with the room setup nicely. We requested for the futon beds which turned out great for our baby. The in-suite washer and dryer is a huge plus. The only down side for us is that the location is a bit of a walk to the elevator of the train station if you travel with a stroller. And I wish the towels of the hotel could be better as mine was shredding on my skin like crazy.

This is a really nice hotel. It’s quite compact and doesn’t have a very big foyer but the rooms are really modern, simple and well maintained. Highlight for us was the 14th floor sky bar which has a fabulous view of the Skytree. When we were staying, there wasn’t a bar open but the staff left free sake and tea for the guests every night there, there was also free soba noodles each night and a flute soloist playing every Monday night. We thought this really went above and beyond for the guests. Really detailed check in and very knowledgeable staff too. Great location too, Okachimachi is right between Akihabara and Ueno there’s a metro station right outside and a JR yamanote line station 5 minutes away.
