「This property has lots of little gimmicky amenities to technically meet the standards of a 4 star hotel. Robes, toiletries, cookies, room service, games, etc. However, it is an older, but remodeled hotel with some cleaning and maintenance issues, a poor breakfast offering and virtual system for check in and check out which is kind of weird. 「We really enjoyed our stay here. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, giving suggestions for things to see in the area. We made good use of the hot tub! Daily breakfasts were great. Our room was perfect.」

「We loved the ponies on site. It was fun to feed them. The staff was helpful and wonderful. The coffee and pastries were a sweet touch. The coffee/tea bar was awesome. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the patio. The gift shop was a delight! Better than any downtown. The Misty items were not found anyplace else. We highly recommend this delightful find!」

「Our stay at Silver Lake was wonderful, Hanna & John were perfect hosts and have done a great job with renovating both the hotel and The Jolly Roger! The room was spacious and well appointed with all needs met. The newly added rockers and side tables on the porch were enjoyable and the resort Bicycles made getting around a fun experience.」
