This was our third stay at the Inlet Inn. The staff is outstanding, very helpful and professional. We love waking up in the morning and enjoying our breakfast while watching activities at the marina. We were in room 107 this time. The room is spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. But, I guess they have been flooded once too often. The ugly vinyl floor is popping up so that we had a puffy floor. The decor is no longer charming. It’s more basic hotel vibe. We miss the charm of our first visit, several years ago.

Great location in Beaufort for walking in the downtown area where there are shops, restaurants and lots of history. The grounds are kept tidy and there is a shady courtyard with seating for outdoor relaxing. They offer a variety of unique room types depending on your needs. You can see the setup choices on their website. My room was spacious with high ceilings and a fan to circulate air. Clean and inviting. The cooling and heating unit was easy to operate and accurate. Complimentary breakfast is available and brought to your room. Well managed. Locally owned and operated.

This is one of my favorite places to stay. It’s so quaint, clean and the staff is so friendly. The warm muffins and coffee delivered to your room in the morning to enjoy on the balcony overlooking the water is a huge plus as well.
