"Excellent stay"

"I had to leave after staying one night. The halls were permeated with the strong smell of tobacco and marijuana smoke. I woke up congested and with my face swollen because I am allergic to both. Even though my room was supposedly a non-smoking room, there were enough "smoking" rooms around me that it didn't make a difference. The mirror was dirty, and so was the floor of the bathroom. The front desk person I interacted with was pleasant enough, but I can't expect them to be responsible for all the issues I had. I was thankfully able to change my reservation."

"I was in the Phoenix area for a week long work training. I switched over to Drury after having a dreadful experience at a different hotel, and it was a stark difference. I was checked-in by a very friendly desk attendant (male, with glasses and spikey hair. He forgot his hearing aids that day), who gave me a parking tip that guaranteed that I had a spot next to an entrance every single day, no matter what time I got back. I didn't make it to happy hour each night, but the nights I did, the ladies serving up drinks were so welcoming and sweet. One offered delicious suggestions to customize my orders; an olive in the chardonnay, and maraschino cherries in the Moscato! The other one accommodated my request to take my drinks up to my room, and offered a lovely chat about books and movies. The room was so well situated to meet my needs. I had a place for everything, and it was so relaxing to return to after the long training days."

"Very good breakfast for a Marriott included breakfast. Always stocked. Cereal, yogurt , juice, eggs, waffles , bagels, butter, cream cheese, marmalades, honey, oatmeal… The rooms are very nice and the bed comfortable. Nice seating area and desk to work. The elevator needs update. The pool is out in the parking lot and very small, it’s good if you have kids but it’s not to relax and lounge as an adult … staff is friendly and helpful. I felt very welcome and safe as a female solo traveler."

"I booked my stay months in advance and within that time, I got two French bulldog puppies. I was able to bring them both! It was very convenient to have a potty area for dogs outside with bags. Staff was great and the 2 bedroom suite was very spacious. You can bring your cats as well."

"The listing said breakfast provided. I expect a full on breakfast, including cooked eggs, bacon/sausage, potatoes, and those devilish waffle makers. This Hilton had a nice layout, with muffins, toast, fruit, cereals, and drinks, but not the full breakfast I expected from a Hilton. Sadly this was the second time in the past several months the listing said breakfast provided, but it was really a Continental breakfast inviting you to go down the street to get a real breakfast. For the $$ I paid, I expected a full breakfast, but didn't get it. Disappointed to say the least."

"A dump/homeless shelter, my first room, roach infested, move to another room worse than the first one roach infested, so moved to the third room, roach infested but not as bad, drinking and drug use in public areas party time when the sun goes down till 3 AM, couldn’t get sleep tried calling the office. No one answering the phone ever, saw absolutely no security, homeless, and drug addicts and sketchy people roaming the place, no one picking up after their dogs company policies and rules not being enforced at all. Do yourself a favor stay away from this place."
