「We stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting family and wished we had stayed for more! It was in a beautiful location, so peaceful and quiet. The Tawny Owl room was large and well appointed. 10 out of 10 from us! 」

「 It seems that the staff are not used to greet guests good morning and the like. Also ,the restaurant is under renovation until end March, so reduced breakfast has to be served inside room. The environment outside the hotel is good,though, with many restaurants nearby.」

「Pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend. Room was spacious and clean. Loved the wines glasses! The breakfast was perfectly adequate and the shared kitchen clean and pleasant to sit in. We paid for carpark and were allowed to leave car the next for a visit of the city. A nice 20 minutes walk along the canal. Host very prompt and polite by text once we had booked. Great price for the convenience and facilities. Thank you ☺️ 」

「Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. All the staff were professional, efficient and friendly. Lovely sized bedrooms. Comfortable bed and great shower over bath. Fantastic food. The bar was well stocked and provided a very comfortable area to enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple at the end of the day. Will definitely stay here again when back in this area. 」

「We booked in here the night before we went to see the horse racing at Market Rasen. It was great. You had a lounge with sofa, coffee table, tv and at the other end was oven and electric rings. The bathroom had a shower and sink. Bedroom had a full sized double bed with wardrobe and chest of drawers. I was surprised at the size of the apartment (a lot bigger than I thought it would be). It is set in beautiful grounds with horses in the nearby fields, a lovely lake with an island. and...

「The room was clean and welcoming. Stayed warm and pleasant temperature. The staff were excellent at the sit down tea we had after my sister's funeral. Very pleasant stay and food was excellent too. were 」

「The staff greeted me professionally and friendly too making me feel very welcome.The room had fantastic views and the shower was fantastic and the tea/ coffee was good quality ie PG tips/Nescafé. Microwave was a real bonus. Only thing you need to do is pay attention to the warn out flooring and a small whole on grey blind. Will always stay there as great staff, fantastic rooms and excellent value for Money.」
