"Everything perfect apart from problems with heating which was immediately rectified by staff lovely friendly hotel"

"Nice hotel with plenty of options of foot at the restaurant. Heating was not constantly on, it is not ideal for cold morning and night. "

"Did not car park. Not met any staff apart from phone call to troubleshoot issues with check in (key pad and room key) I did not use the kitchen but i saw it was there."

"Lovely decor in the hotel. Our suite was gorgeous. We ate in the restaurant and it was lovely, great menu. The pub is very cosy, very relaxed feel to it."

"Parking was good but we struggled to get in with the codes. Thankfully a member of staff let us in. We only stayed one night and it was in the O Hagan Suite (one of the best rooms) - good value but it was a Sunday night. Good things - comfy clean bed. Shower was great. Loved the projector. Not so good - no water in room , just a fridge full of fizzy sugary drinks which neither of us could drink. We asked for some water and was told they were awaiting delivery. Breakfast is no longer served in the Food Hall but is in a local coffee shop shortly walk away. Just 3 things on the menu - large "full English", smaller "full English" or yoghurt or oats with berries. No cereal or pastries and just one drink. They were really busy too (Monday morning around 8am ) which meant breakfast didn't arrive till after coffee. Staff that we encountered at the hotel were lovely and helpful within their means. Not a bad stay but some minor tweaks and it could be great!"

"Extensive mould in the bedroom. Very dated decor in room and the taps were broken. Lots of cobwebs. Wedding on and the music played till 00.30 very loud, so couldn't sleep at all. A memorable stay for the wrong reasons"
