"We stayed at Novotel Surfers Paradise for 3 nights, the beds were horrible and moving around badly and the bottom side of the beds sliding down, after I spoke to the receptions the manager called me and trying to move us to another room and apologised for the issues . The manager was very nice. Also she gave us complementary breakfast as apologised. "

"Beds comfy. Very clean. Fans and air worked well. Apartment was on the smaller side but was a pretty good layout. A bit dated. Limited basic amenities in the apartment like rubbish bags, dishwasher powder etc. We had enough for a 1 night v 5 night stay. Spa was colder than pool for the first 3 nights of our stay. Overall good value for money. We'd stay again."

"Check-in was straightforward as we arrived and left during office hours. There was some previous confusion from an email I was sent concerning charging for the use of the sofa bed (we were 2 adults, 1 child). Our invoice contained an “extra guest fee” for a unit advertised as sleeping 4. The location was excellent for us. We booked the “superior unit with balcony”. When we entered the unit, we were greeted with an unpleasant smell – sort of a mix of cheap cleaner and mould. It was there every time we came back but wasn’t noticeable while we were in the unit. We were essentially on the ground floor so not exactly what I would call a “balcony”! The unit is quite spacious. From the on-line photos, I was expecting it to be a bit dated and I wasn’t bothered by that. However, it is really rather tired with marked/worn paint, and scruffy furniture – not nearly as nice as pictured on-line. One of the dining room chairs felt like it was close to collapse. The kitchen was quite well equipped with a new fridge. There was a very meagre supply of tea/coffee (not replenished) and a tiny carton of milk. There was the type of mismatched crockery and glassware that you tend to find in an old motel. There was no can-opener, paring knife, vegetable peeler or scissors. But there were four chopping boards! Maybe there was an apartment with four peelers and no chopping board that I could have done a swap with. The sofa bed was okay for our 7-year old to sleep on but it would be hor"

"Beach wow was amazing . Handy to shops . We would have like to have had 2 towels each for our stay of 5 nights , one for the pool And one for showering . Lifts weren’t working well while we stayed . Love the facilities bbq and pool etc . Lovely staff "
