"Very poor hotel. Doors did not close fully, lock was barely hanging on and in no way did I feel that my belongings were secure when I left the room. Even the local taxi driver questioned if I was sure that I wanted to stay there. Front desk did not return our passport which was odd. Our room was full of mosquitoes, there was no plug to charge our phones, and the room was so small that I felt like we were staying in a closet. We ended up leaving after one night. We asked for a refund and still haven’t heard back."

"Our stay here was 4 nights and the first night we had requested a beach front room with 2 double beds. We booked through Expedia, and were given a room that was far back that overlooked the beach and the roof, and only had a king bed. We asked if we could move to a different room, and they said since we had booked through Expedia we could only be on floors 3 through 5. However, we met someone else who booked through Expedia and got the 15th floor. Since we booked through Expedia, we felt the employees just wanted to treat us differently. We got another room the second day, and it was much better, but still only had one bed with 2 mattresses pushed together. The pool deck is very run down; and does not look like the pictures advertised, and not to mention, the building next door to the pool is such an eye sore. It is abandon and run down. The drinks at the bars are very inconsistent. Sometimes you’ll order the same drink and it’ll be a totally different color. There were people working with water activities and they were arguing about who was going to get the money and it made us uncomfortable. Our first night, we did the dinner buffet and the food was so awful. Thankfully, the breakfast one was better. We learned when we arrived, we had to wait for our room to be ready, and also, if you plan to eat at any of the restaurants, you must book 2 days ahead on a 4 day vacation. The steakhouse, both times, our meat, we asked for medium and even browner, and it came back rare. I felt"
