You would think it would be kind of rough considering the area and all the gas stations around it but it was pretty nice and secluded! As a solo traveler I will definitely be back. 「Overall location of property was further away than we expected. It was close to the highway though,, so it wasn’t terrible. We were also surprised to learn there was no breakfast. There was a strong smell of weed in the halls, which may not be the hotel’s fault, but it was unpleasant. Parking is free, which is a plus.」

「For the cost per day of the hotel room did not meet our expectations. Rooms are out dated and have not changed since the 1st time we booked them 15 years ago. We are a Landrys club member.」

「We arrived at the hotel and was told it was canceled. We didn't receive an email or any notification of the cancelation. We had nowhere else to go. They scrambled to find us a room but the only room available didn't have AC. It's the middle of summer in Texas. They did give us a discount on the room with no AC but it smelled like mold & stuff & extremely hot.」

「My family of 4 was forced to constantly ask for towels from day one because staff only provided sets for 3, even though front desk saw it was 4 people. The manager stated because we used a third party to book, they had no way of knowing how many would arrive. But to that I say, once we checked in and you counted 4 people, there should have been an adjustment. This was an inconvenience from the start, which made us feel like we were annoying the staff. There were stains which looked permanent...
