Didn't go there
I would def pay the extra money for the level 9 tour. You get to see the pool the astronauts train in and other buildings that they train in. You could get lucky and see astronauts training. You also get to go on the floor of Apollo 11 Mission Control. They just reopened it. THAT WAS AMAZING! AND you ride in an air-conditioned van with no wait! It was well worth the money!!
Well worth a visit. Go early and plan to spend the day. Go on the tram tour right away or late in the day. You can bring snacks in so you don't have to spend time or money eating. Look on line before you go so you have an idea of what you want to see. They have triple A discounts.
Pay the extra couple dollars for the membership to get through the lines faster. It’s worth the money
It was a medical trip and we did not go to the Johnson Space Center.
This iconic “mission control” was immortalized for its role in the first moon landing.

Though Houston Methodist St. John Hospital might be what brings you to town, perhaps you'll have a chance to explore more of Houston while you are here.
