「I stayed at room #6. It's a little hot but there's a minisplit. The place could use some improvements and renovations but nothing major. If you are not picky then it's a great place. Specially the balcony. It has a small table, two chairs and a hammock. All overlooking the river and the trees. I couldn't believe how lucky i was for getting this room. The people were nice. And the location is great. Not too close to the noise, not too far from the beach. Walking distance to shop, restaurants,...

「It's about a 10 minute walk to Sunzal beach - so in that sense the property is very convenient for surfing. That being said, there's very little in the immediate area of the hotel, and it's about a 25-30 minute walk to El Tunco. I rented a motorcycle, so that wasn't much a problem for me. 「Great location, walking distance to town and the bus. Room was very clean. Had a refrigerator and AC. There was a hammock outside on the porch. The backyard is simple with a picnic table and chairs and a small outdoor kitchen had fun watching the squirrels run back-and-forth in the morning」
