「This place has character. The staff was excellent and accommodating, very friendly and responsive. The rooms are a bit old but clean, everything works, good air conditioner, and decorated with antiques, handmade local items, even a large bookcase with hundreds of interesting older books. The parking is onsite, a bit crowded Saturday night but no one blocked you in and there is overflow parking right outside the gate just a few dozen meters from your room. 「The hotel is located at an excellent location, with fantastic views of the Taal Lake and the volcano. The food in the restaurant is great, and the service is generally very good. The nearby area also has many nice places to eat, but they mostly require a little bit of walk. Due to the much cooler weather up there than that in Manila, people flock into the area for the weekends, but that also means the pool may be a bit too cold to enjoy a swim… Overall, I would say it was a very nice stay...
