"Great location, lovely staff, very clean"

"We were greeted by friendly and professional staff, who assisted us with our luggage and accompanied us to our room. The room was clean and quiet. It was well supplied with refreshments and a hand-written welcome note. The bed was comfortable, quite firm but not hard. Dinner was excellent! There was a very good choice, each dish was delicious and service was friendly and efficient. Breakfast too was very good and well prepared. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again."

"Room was freezing cold. Had a little old fashioned heater we had to put on when we got into the room which took ages to heat up. The reception staff were friendly. The hotel was dead, I'm sure we were nearly the only ones there. The whole of the one side of the hotel we were in seemed to be freezing like they only heated the front half where the reception desk was. Rooms were big but very run down and old. We wouldn't stay there again. "

"Strange room with small door and steps. The pitched roof impeeds your head room. The kettle lead was fixed to the kettle, get an extension lead,,,,,had to crawl to the socket to plug ot in, then crawl to get it out again. Well at least it was exciting. "
