Great stay at the Urban, friendly staff, easy check in, lovely big beds, brand new walk in shower, big towels (so rare these days!), super quiet despite it being Friday/Saturday.

The room was spacious and the bathroom had a large walk-in shower. The reception area was welcoming and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Hopefully the restaurant will be able to open soon but there was a pub serving food less than a ten minute walk away.

Saw very few staff around. Couple of times reception was deserted for prolonged periods and no one was on the bar either. Maybe just low staffing levels that weekend. Staff we did encounter were friendly. Hotel is clean but a little old fashioned with its decor and felt slightly shabby in the corridors. Room had comfortable beds and a great refurbished bathroom. Parking was plentiful & it’s in a very convenient location. Would stay again if needed to be in the area

The hotel is located near the A1 and has ample parking. At the time of this review the restaurant and leisure facilities were not open. The room was a very good size and the facilities were fine for a short stay.

Easy to access with plenty of parking. Staff were excellent sorting and accessible room that allowed dogs. Very clean with comfortable beds. Things a bit jaded and the outside area needs tidying but nothing that affected our stay. Lisa on reception was so welcoming and helpful went out of her way for us.
