"This hotel was very disappointing. The pool was dirty and moldy, the property felt rundown and abandoned, the bar had no life, and there was no elevator. This is only a place to sleep and take a shower. There is no kettle, coffee maker, microwave, stove, refrigerator, or hot water available. I was very sick and could not even make a cup of tea. The bathroom was also poor. The toilet had very little water and flushed extremely slowly. They came to fix it, but it still did not work well. The toilet seat was old, loose, and too small for the toilet. The mirror was so high that at 5’5”, I could only see from my nose up. The safe box was so tiny it was basically only big enough for a wedding ring — but I’m divorced, so even that was useless to me. The biggest problem was the noise. A large family had rooms 17, 18, and 19 next to each other, with doors open while children screamed, yelled, and slammed doors late at night. At 11:30 p.m., I complained because I had to wake up at 5 a.m. for a 7:30 a.m. flight. The night shift person only said, “We are full,” as if that excused the noise. That was not acceptable."

"I have stayed at this hotel multiple times. And every time it’s exactly like how I remember it. The staff is so helpful, it’s a smaller resort so you run into the same people building friendships and everywhere you go you are greeted with a hello. Some of the key selling points are its proximity to fifth Avenue, you can walk and there is no need for a tax Taxi, which saves you some money. Fifth Avenue has lots of options for shopping and eating and I couldn’t imagine having to take Transportation every time I want to get into the city. It’s easy to find a pool chair. The bartenders are very friendly. The staff at the spa are amazing and the check-in and checkout process was easy. Yulianna, Boris, Illena, Nadia, Edmundo, Zelia, and Cressy just to name a few were some of our standouts when it comes to staff. While I understand, there are bigger resorts, this hotel has character and charm, and build a community with all of those who are frequent guests here. I travel a lot and have met many people at this resort who come back time and time again and I will for sure be one of them."

"Great, helpful, and friendly staff that make an effort to recognize guests despite the short time allowed. The breakfast buffet was filled with alternatives that should suit every visitor - from greens to eggs and sides to pancakes and sweets. However there were invariably lines for omelets every day. While I don't mind waiting for my breakfast to be prepared, I do expect to be able to wait at my table while consuming another item that I will enjoy."
