"A top range property which had had a lot of thought put in to it but the while the under floor heating could be turned down it could not be put completely off and we were far to hot on occasion.
It did feel a little impersonal and not to welcoming as the key was in the property and we had no contact at all with the owner or family

"The property is perfect for staying.
Large space compare to the price, Worm inside, Wide kitchen, everything is good.
But otherwise WiFi signal is kind of weak so it's small minus point. Since they are not stated "WiFi" on the ammenities, may be most of customers expect strong WiFi during their stays."

"The property was warm and welcoming — truly a home away from home. The location was perfect, with everything within easy walking distance. We received a lovely personal welcome, including a thoughtful card and a generous welcome pack with a nice bottle of wine, chocolates, tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits. I would highly recommend this place. A genuinely warm and inviting place to stay. "

"The hotel is well located within a few minutes walk to the centre.
It is pleasant, set in leafy grounds with ample parking.
It's reception is traditional rather than modern and the rooms, whilst clean are getting a little tired showing wear and tear in some areas.
Breakfast room is glass fronted so bright and airy, buffet breakfast is average hotel fayre, enough variety to fill you with your favourite foods.
Our party of 14 stayed 3 nights, the only thing I wasn't too happy about is the cost of drinks in the bar and parking - bar prices encouraged us to go in to town and drink elsewhere, parking at £12.50 per night was far too expensive considering we were resident - that added an extra £300 to our combined bill."
"Room air con made a lot of noise to no effect, consequently room was hot at night.
Bathroom extractor fan broken and room smelt damp.
Wash basin plug did not seal effectively requiring tap to be left running when in use.
Breakfast good.
Position excellent for RSC."
"top class hotel. big room. very clean. wifi worked. It is part of the Mailbox building. Handy if you want to visit the BBC. Parking under the hotel. A bit of a challenge to get to the parking entrance but google helped.
Food options in the bar a bit limited.
would stay again."
"We only had an overnight stay, but the hotel was excellent. Very clean and a beautiful smell throughout. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Will try to get back there again some time to use some of the facilities, as we didn't have time for golf or swimming."
"Room is good size and comfortable. Aircon didn’t work very well. Some reception staff were good but one, possibly new, didn’t seem to know what to do.
We’ve stayed before and it’s very handy for the theatre with plenty of parking at reasonable cost. We didn’t have breakfast this time as we’ve eaten there before and it was dreadful. We had tea in the bar while waiting for checkin but were driven out by the awful muzac and the constant thudding, headache inducing beat in every song. Unfortunately you could also hear it in the nearby sitting room.
Guests should be aware that there are no lifts and frequent short flights of steps with no ramps."
"Perfectly placed for all amenities. Beautiful building full of character. Lovely room and large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Would definitely stay there again"
