「The Yellow House is a wonderful B and B for a relaxing weekend. The owner is very conscientious and his breakfasts reflect that. There was always hot coffee available in the mornings and snacks, including home made cookies, during the day. The house is very clean and well kept. Our bed was a little small and therefore, I found it hard to sleep well. The next time we stay here I would request a room with a larger bed. I would definitely return for a weekend here. 」

「The lady who owns the motel is so so nice and inviting! There were vacant rooms during our stay, so she let my husband and I upgrade to a room with one king size bed vs 2 queen beds. Every time we saw her she asked if she could do anything for us. They also have their dog at the property (they live on site) and she’s the sweetest, friendliest dog ever!!! The rooms were also very, very nice and cozy. Would highly recommend!」

They made us feel truly welcome and it was hard to peel ourselves from the beautiful porch! We are already planning our next stay here. 」

「Overall everything was very nice. Check in was easy - Room was SUPER clean - Staff Very Nice and Friendly I did not try breakfast - nor the fitness room - no pool ( at my time of stay ) Only Negative -- Water Pressure was bad in the shower - Lots of Hot Water - I would and Will stay again - 」

「It’s like walking into past. Large areas for sitting groups of friends and lots of old hotel ambience. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Location is easily with 30 minutes of Cherokee, Maggie valley and surrounding areas. 」

「Nice rooms and front walkways w/ rocking chairs! It was very peaceful in the mornings especially sitting out and enjoying the calm outdoors. Breakfast was pretty good too. The pancake machine is very neat to my unsophisticated mind. 」

「Overall stay was awesome! The staff members were friendly. The breakfast had a variety of options. Lake Junaluska is breathtaking! The only negative our shower didn’t drain properly. We stood in ankle deep water. Our room was 1635 in the Terrace. 」

「Everything went well. Very clean despite the hotels age. I did, however, lose the room key due to the key ring being stretched. This incurred an additional $25.00 fee. 」

「The room is extremely small and the bed is also very small. I booked a king size bed and was given a double bed. My child could only sleep on the floor. No one came to change the bath towels in our room. The accommodation experience was extremely poor.」
