「I arrived 15 min early and they wanted to charge me 20 pounds for early checkin. Called for extra towels and they did not deliver. Went to the front desk to ask for towels and they said that they did not have any available.」

「Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! 「Lovely country pub, perfect for a stop over or to stay a few nights in the countryside. Staff were friendly and thoughtful, the food was excellent, and the restaurant/beer garden out the back was lovely in the warm summer eve.」

「The place was great. The only thing was the shower. The shower was great but there is no place to put you change of clothes while showering. There needs to be more, larger hooks.」

「This is a single room detached building beside the host’s house and it is absolutely delightful. The bed is comfy, the bathroom has lots of big fluffy towels, there is coffee and tea in the room. The weather was warm while we were there but there is cross ventilation and a fan, and we were able to enjoy breakfast outside in the beautiful garden. I would highly recommend this for a couple wanting a quiet place to stay that is convenient to explore the Salisbury area.」

If a client is using derogatory foul audible language aimed at women in the bar area they should be asked to stop by the manager/bar tender - it’s not pleasant to be subjected to this if you’re sitting quietly trying to enjoy your own drink . It would be great value & a positive accolade for a simple continental breakfast to be included in the nightly rate instead of...
