"The property is older but has had some upgrades while keeping it's original charm. Our room was clean and was surprising large. Some amenities are missing that are found in newer hotels. There's no elevator and the spa was closed during our visit. The staff are excellent and do their best with requests and making sure you enjoy your stay. Breakfast was OK, nothing fancy and some dishes tasted pre-made (ie. like buffet style) when we had went first thing in the morning. However, when we went later in the morning the next day our dishes had been freshly made. Location is excellent, close to the 1000 island cruises dock, beach, restaurants and shopping. We would recommend to others for a nice quiet stay when visiting Gananoque."

"Easy access off 401 Hway Friendly staff. Easy free parking. 1st floor had separate deck entrance leading from room to pool. Breakfast was grab and go with exception of pancakes. Soda machine and free ice. Nearby restaurants and short drive to boat cruises"

"I had an excellent stay at the Capricorn Motel recently. The room was newly updated with modern finishes, a smart TV, and a fully renovated bathroom. The property has a couple of BBQs available and a great shared kitchen area for all guest to use. Located right across the road from one of the 1000 Island cruises, which was also fantastic. The host was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and clearly takes pride in the place. I would definitely stay here again."
