I've been traveling to Canada for the past week. Out of all that, this place was the worst. So far, Expedia has chosen accommodation based on ratings, the worst of all. Leaving a review for the first time. I hope no one goes to this accommodation. When I got to the accommodation first, there was a car in the parking lot. From this point on, I didn't feel good. There was no one and only Bell was stuck at the check-in office. It rang at least six times, but no one came. I was able to get my phone number and pass through. I knew later, but you only did this. The exterior of the office was a pile of laundry behind messy paper on my laptop and desk. I got the key. I only got one key. When I woke up, I felt like I could sleep overnight, but it smelled so bad. When I opened the door and ventilated it, the bed was full of dust. When I lifted the sheet, there were dry grass or pieces of wood attached to it. Both beds were stuck together. I wasn't sure if I could go back and sleep well. Walking by, I saw a motel called Comfort. We went in and asked if there was a room, and fortunately, there was one. I went back, packed it up and checked out. There was no one in the office yet, and when I called, they told me to leave my keys in my room. I ran away within two hours of arriving. Do not be photographed. Do not go here. Clean accommodation is a valuable accommodation for tired travel.

Office area clean but disorganized and untidy… Units are clean and bathroom modern and clean … window dressings has much needed upgrade … blinds old and broken .. I enjoy staying here but place needs to be tidied up

A wonderful surprise

It looked like someone has worked very hard to make this old motel a nice place. It’s not posh but very clean and comfortable. I would definitely come back if I were not just passing through.

A roof over our heads but everything else was mediocre. Office was a mess - a sign that ambiance is low priority. Room was cramped, outlets in inconvenient locations, clean but grungy bathroom, difficult to operate wall ac unit. No directions given for how to check out so we had to ring the bell and wake the proprietor for a 7:30am start.

Motel typique

Motel un peu 'dans son jus', mais c'est le côté typique ! Dans le petit hameau de Ivy lea. Motel tel qu'on les voit dans les films américains ..marrant ! Chambre un peu vétuste mais propre et bien équipée Parking -bien sur- devant la chambre Endroit calme et reposant a deux pas du saint Laurent et a 100 mètres du départ des croisières des mille iles (bien pratique)!

An excellent location for Sup, cycling but no later evening dinning option. We did Sup under beautiful sunset, the view is amazing; came back in dark with no restaurant open nearby. Hotel has BBQ and simple kitchen. Near water front trial, cycling towards west direction, restaurant, Cosmo camping , thousand island province park are all close by . Overall it’s still a nice staying.

I stayed at Capricorn Motel Gananoque and was very disappointed with the experience. The service was poor – staff were unhelpful and unprofessional. My room was not clean, and the overall condition of the property felt neglected. What I didn’t like: Unfriendly and unresponsive staff Room was not cleaned properly No basic amenities or maintenance Poor value for the money Unfortunately, the negatives far outweighed the positives. I would not recommend this motel to others.

De kamer is heel basic, wel schoon. Houd rekening met muggen zo dicht hij het water. Muggen zijn ook de reden dat de kamer een anti-muggen geur heeft gekregen. De airco maakt helaas weer een hoop geluid. Het hotel ligt op een fijne plek. We vonden het relatief duur, in hoofdstad Ottawa hadden we voor vrijwel hetzelfde geld 2x zoveel ruimte, comfort en voorzieningen. Let wel op; in deze buurt geen bereik met je databundel. En helaas ook slecht wifi bereik. Dus kom hier niet als je iets op je mobiel wilt doen.
