「Great hotel good location」

「First impression on arrival, front of house could do with some maintenance (weeding). Suite 5*Tap in bathroom had soap marks and hair shavings. Pillows were too hard and mattress was uncomfortable, could feel the springs with every movement we made. Website said city view, but this wasn’t the case,(disappointed). On a positive note, service was good overall. Would stay there again if mattress was more comfy.」

「Very close to the train station」

「Perfect stay for Alton towers trip with family.」

「The room is not well kept. No enough toilet rolls and bathroom liquid soap」

「Room was cold heating not working. Was a portable heater in room. Carpet was absolutely filthy. Chair was ripped. Bathroom was clean」

「(October 2026, on a Monday) At the time best price in 100(!) miles radius. En-suite enclosed parking included heating on as centre location lot of good amenities around....all surprise Not for wheelchair user.」

「Feel like the pictures and description did not meet expectations or match the property. This property is more of a bedsit with shared kitchen and living area. The room is big enough for a double bed and enough room to walk round it. The bathroom was ok, unfortunately the shower head was leaking and the power in the shower fluctuates, possibly when another person runs water in the property. We only got one bath towel for an adult and child, not even a hand towel. Not sure where the city view was...

「Double booked us and very rude」

「Only advantage near railway Station and rental car」

「Absolutely avoid at all costs - hubby and children were left without any place to stay when hosts lost booking」

「Sehr gutes Frühstück und Abendessen.」

「Lovely welcome from the team on arrival. The room on the top floor was great, comfy bed, good sized room, fridge with fresh milk provided. Really tasty breakfast, available until 12pm which was a nice touch. Friendly place, nice bar and outside area」
