"Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. "

I had booked a room for two people, but the space was far too small to comfortably accommodate us. On top of that, the entire house was unclean, which made the stay even more unpleasant. "This would probably have been a totally fine stay except there was about 50 members of the same family staying there, maybe 75, and their kids were marauding round the hotel leaving trash, upturned chairs, broken glasses etc all over the place. The bar was a no go area because they'd taken over, so loud. Not enough staff to police the bad behavior or clean up and the parents were doing nothing. Pool was absolutely rammed and not a place my kids wanted to hang out - tiny and busy, despite booking a slot. No fridge in the room! Wouldn't stay again."

"Do not stay here! The pictures are not anything like the actual hotel, it’s very outdated and looks dirty. The carpets are filthy and the bedrooms are quite frankly disgusting! The bathrooms hadn’t been cleaned, hairs in the bath and even the toilet hadn’t been flushed. And a very disgusting wet mark on the floor that looked like urine. One room had the curtains nearly hanging off (a family room!) mismatched, wall paper peeling and stains on sheets. The pillows were nearly flat and the duvets so thin. The ceiling in one of our two rooms had the paint peeling and yellow marks from a bad leak and there was black mould in both rooms. If it wasn’t for the fact we had one night booked and arrived at 10pm i would have found us somewhere else to stay. Embarrassing to call this a hotel, I’ve seen cleaner crack dens in movies!!"

"Plenty of parking with easy access to rooms.Room good size but just needs a bit of attention. Curtains hanging down a bit,2 out of 3 bedside lights not working and some coffee sachets out of date. You have to order breakfast night before,personally dont like this as never know what will feel like,but was beautifully cooked. Easy walk into village where selection of food available for dinner."
