"The room was clean and spacious and the staff were super friendly. But I was hoping the room was quieter but you can still hear traffic and construction probably because the windows are pretty old. The blinds and windows could be cleaner too. The Internet speed was slow. Having said all above, I would still rate it 4 out of 5. The neighborhood is nice and relatively close to everything."

"I liked everything about the property except for the subway noise. That noise runs all day and night every few minutes and it was difficult to sleep. The staff were great, very helpful and accomodating. The location is good with the exception of the train. "

"The hotel was pretty good but a few draw backs. My room wasn’t entirely clean when I checked in. There were dead bugs in the bathroom and crumbs on the counter. If you stay less than 7 days, they do not provide house keeping to clean your room. You have to request it for an extra fee. They will not let you check in before 3:00 PM. I asked politely if it would be possible and I was hit with an unpleasant “no”. If you book through hotels.com, they will make you fill out a credit card processing...

"I totally love Coda on Half. My only issue with the hotel was some of the cleanliness. The sheets, towels, shower could have been cleaned better. There were dark spots on the towels, hair in the shower and brown spots on the bed sheets. I would also suggest having a standing mirror in the units. It was difficult not knowing what I looked like from head to toe without a standing mirror. Other than that, I would totally stay at this hotel again. "

"The Hotel is great. The only challange was finding parking nearby and at a good value which I define at less then $50 @ day. This was a challenge because my guests and I had 3 cars. I still rate it as 5 stars. Perhaps the hotel could work out a package deal with a nearby parking garage, like many places do in Manhattan. "

"This is an excellent location. One block from the White House! The apartment is in a beautiful building with Cheesecake Factory next door. There is a coffee shop connected to the lobby which is charming. I would recommend this lodging!"

"Awesome boutique hotel. Decor in public space and guest rooms are very welcoming and comfortable. The main lobby and small outdoor balcony near elevator is the perfect place to sit and read, have a conversation or as I did waterpaint. The area is definitely a foodie adventure so many places to choose from. The Treehouse and cafe on site are very good. I recommend reservations for the Treehouse, the 2 times (5:30pm Wednesday &Thursday) I stopped in for an early dinner I was informed they had only bar seating. All the tabels were reserved. I was there about an hour and a half and only 3 tables has guests. Food is good and the waitstaff are pleasant and attentive. "

She was able to accommodate our room early upon for early check-in, and gave us amazing food and drink recommendations. "Great location- easy walking to the National Mall, Monuments, Museums and the Wharf. Breakfast at the Capital Bistro onsite was delicious and the Starbucks inside made for a quick grab and go snack option. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Only downside was the fire alarm went off about midnight one night but thankfully we didn’t need to evacuate."
